Leslie

Vocals

Growing up in a small town of Pampa, TX, music was a huge outlet for Leslie from a very young age.  Originally trained in classical music, she has developed her style by exploring and performing a variety of genres from standards to country swing, classical to classic rock.   Her favorite artists reflect that variety:  Ella Fitzgerald, U2, Asleep at the Wheel, Lyle Lovett, Train, Pink, Lake Street Dive and Pat Benatar to name a few. She feels there is something to be learned by listening to any singer out there and enjoys almost every type of music.

paul

Guitar, Bass

Paul started playing the guitar when he was 8y/o, after being inspired by the Beatles. He has played in multiple classic rock bands playing rock and blues. His influences include Santana, Allman Brothers, Yes, Eagles, Police, Sting, Rolling Stones, and of course, the Beatles! Previous bands include Road Work and Arrhythmia here in Little Rock. Paul joined Southern Frayed as guitarist and bassist. He states, "I love this band because it is a group of great musicians (and great people) that play a wide variety of music."

Pele

Bass, Guitar, Vocals

Pele is one of the founding members of the Southern Frayed Band. He plays bass guitar, electric guitar and occasionally sings, when forced by Leslie. He likes all kinds of music, but he was influenced by folk and rock when he was younger and have grown to really love jazz and improvisational music as an adult. He has been in a number of bands since high school, playing mostly in rock, pop and dance bands. And, oh BTW, he is the technology geek in the band.

Chuck

Drums

Chuck is Arkansas born n bred. Growing up in a musical family, there was always somebody playing. When he was 12, he cut his teeth playing drums at a community dance in Paragould where his Uncle Hoss lead the band. At the end of the night, they would let him play a few songs. Since then, he has been blessed to play with a lot of talented musicians and very excited to be a part of Southern Frayed!

Ron

Keyboards, Vocals

Ron joins the band as keyboardist and back up vocals. He started his music career performing all the 60s and 70s Rock and Blues from Beatles, Santana, Rascals, Eagles. B B King, and you get the point. He adds the classic B3 Hammond touch to our mix and he is super excited to join us.
